The door frames are made of 8 mm thick steel, with a milled rebate in which the glass is firmly clamped. This ensures a modern and sleek appearance for your Barbas wood-burning stove. Thanks to the design, the glass door offers the largest possible glass surface.

Make your door choice

In certain situations, a self-closing door may be required — for example, when multiple fireplaces are connected to the same chimney flue. By default, manual closing is selected. Your dealer will gladly help you choose the best option if needed.

If you opt for a self-closing door, the door will be automatically closed using a spring mechanism. This is especially useful when multiple fireplaces are connected to the same chimney, preventing unwanted smoke backdraft.

Concrete ceramic gives your Barbas wood-burning stove a modern and robust look. Thanks to the addition of fiberglass, this material is more wear-resistant than vermiculite. However, keep in mind that ceramic concrete takes a little longer to heat up.

Choose your heat shield

A heat shield allows a fireplace to be installed closer to a wall, even up to 7.7 cm from the rear side, because it significantly reduces heat output at the back. This is especially important for walls made of combustible materials.

Consists of two shields, each 2 mm thick, with an air gap between them, finished in stove color (anthracite black). The shields are installed using specially shaped spacers, creating a protective air layer.

Without heat shield

If the fireplace is positioned at a sufficient distance from the wall, or if the wall is made of non-combustible material, a heat shield is not necessary. However, since a heat shield is virtually invisible, it is still recommended to protect the wall. It can also be installed afterwards (retrofit).

Flue gas outlet connection

Choose your flue gas outlet

You can choose the position of the flue outlet on your Barbas wood fireplace yourself. Depending on the location of the chimney in your home, you can select the connection that best suits your situation. Your Barbas dealer will be happy to help you make the right choice.

Pipe will connect internally inside the smoke outlet

This method ensures that condensation water is drained toward the fireplace.

Pipe will connect externally over the smoke outlet

This method ensures a reverse connection compared to a water-in system. In some situations, this can be better for installation. Your Barbas dealer will help you make the right choice.

Outside air connection

Choose your outside air connection

For the combustion process in your Barbas wood fireplace, oxygen is required. Depending on your preference, the air supply can come from the room where the fireplace is located or from outside.

This rear connection provides the external supply of combustion air from outside. Choose this option in a mechanically ventilated home and when you have the possibility to install the external air supply through an exterior wall.

Bottom side

The bottom connection of your Barbas fireplace allows combustion air to be supplied from, for example, a crawl space.
