A steel door gives your Barbas wood-burning fireplace a bold and rugged appearance.
The door frames are made of 8 mm thick steel, with a milled rebate in which the glass is firmly clamped. This ensures a modern and sleek appearance for your Barbas wood-burning stove. Thanks to the design, the glass door offers the largest possible glass surface.
When the door is opened, it remains open.
If you opt for a self-closing door, the door will be automatically closed using a spring mechanism. This is especially useful when multiple fireplaces are connected to the same chimney, preventing unwanted smoke backdraft.
The classic custom-made frame from Barbas is specially crafted in our workshop and can be freely configured up to 20 cm around the fireplace. This allows you to easily design the look and give your Barbas fireplace a unique character.
The built-in frame is a stylish 8 mm thick frame. Together with the surround and the fireplace, this frame forms a sleek, elegant whole, creating a luxurious and modern finish for your fireplace.
In this version, there is no visible frame, making the fireplace door appear to float within the surround. This creates a sleek, minimalist effect and offers complete freedom to perfectly integrate the fireplace into your interior design.
Concrete ceramic gives your Barbas wood-burning stove a modern and robust look. Thanks to the addition of fiberglass, this material is more wear-resistant than vermiculite. However, keep in mind that ceramic concrete takes a little longer to heat up.
A vermiculite lining reflects heat back into the combustion chamber, helping the fireplace maintain a high temperature. This promotes the combustion process and ensures efficient operation. Vermiculite is particularly well-suited to achieving a more consistent and comfortable burning experience.
Connect the fireplace to your chimney via the backside of the fireplace.
The fireplace is connected to your chimney via the top of the unit.
A diagonal flue connection on a built-in wood-burning fireplace offers added flexibility during installation, especially in cases of limited space, structural beams above the unit, or angled chimney flues.
Can the fireplace take oxygen from the room in which it is installed? Then this connection is ideal. It is seamlessly integrated into the design of the fireplace and offers a lot of flexibility in placement. Your Barbas dealer will be happy to help you make the right choice for your situation.
This rear connection provides the external supply of combustion air from outside. Choose this option in a mechanically ventilated home and when you have the possibility to install the external air supply through an exterior wall.
The bottom connection of your Barbas fireplace allows combustion air to be supplied from, for example, a crawl space.
