Choose your frame

Personalise your fireplace with a stylish frame Nothing defines the look of your fireplace more than its frame. That’s why Barbas offers a wide range of frame types, allowing you to match your fireplace perfectly to your interior and personal taste. Some frames can even be custom-made to the exact millimetre.

Built-in frame

The built-in frame is a stylish 8 mm thick frame. Together with the surround and the fireplace, this frame forms a sleek, elegant whole, creating a luxurious and modern finish for your fireplace.

Frameless

In this version, there is no visible frame, making the fireplace door appear to float within the surround. This creates a sleek, minimalist effect and offers complete freedom to perfectly integrate the fireplace into your interior design.

Classic frame custom made

The classic custom-made frame from Barbas is specially crafted in our workshop and can be freely configured up to 20 cm around the fireplace. This allows you to easily design the look and give your Barbas fireplace a unique character.

Personalize your Barbas fireplace entirely to your taste with an interior lining that perfectly matches your style and comfort. Choose from various options and give your fireplace a unique, stylish appearance.

Vermiculite

A vermiculite lining reflects heat back into the combustion chamber, helping the fireplace maintain a high temperature. This promotes the combustion process and ensures efficient operation. Vermiculite is particularly well-suited to achieving a more consistent and comfortable burning experience.

Concrete ceramic

Concrete ceramic gives your Barbas wood-burning stove a modern and robust look. Thanks to the addition of fiberglass, this material is more wear-resistant than vermiculite. However, keep in mind that ceramic concrete takes a little longer to heat up.

Fan system

Choose your fan system

A convection fan in your Barbas wood fireplace helps to distribute warm air more quickly and efficiently throughout the room. The fireplace heats the air inside the convection jacket, after which the fan blows this warm air into the room. This results in more even heat distribution and faster warming of the space.

Door closure

Make your door choice

In certain situations, a self-closing door may be required — for example, when multiple fireplaces are connected to the same chimney flue. By default, manual closing is selected. Your dealer will gladly help you choose the best option if needed.

When the door is opened, it remains open.

Self-closing door

If you opt for a self-closing door, the door will be automatically closed using a spring mechanism. This is especially useful when multiple fireplaces are connected to the same chimney, preventing unwanted smoke backdraft.

Outside air connection

Choose your outside air connection

For the combustion process in your Barbas wood fireplace, oxygen is required. Depending on your preference, the air supply can come from the room where the fireplace is located or from outside.

Backside

This rear connection provides the external supply of combustion air from outside. Choose this option in a mechanically ventilated home and when you have the possibility to install the external air supply through an exterior wall.

Bottom side

The bottom connection of your Barbas fireplace allows combustion air to be supplied from, for example, a crawl space.

Front side

Can the fireplace take oxygen from the room in which it is installed? Then this connection is ideal. It is seamlessly integrated into the design of the fireplace and offers a lot of flexibility in placement. Your Barbas dealer will be happy to help you make the right choice for your situation.

Leveling legs

For easy installation at height, you can opt for extended adjustable feet. The fireplace comes standard with adjustable feet to level it properly. Please note that, depending on previous choices, this option may not be available.
